This award honors one supervisor who guides their team to success through effective leadership, mentorship, communication, and team-building.

The Beacon Award honors a 911 supervisor who leads by example—building strong teams, mentoring with purpose, and navigating challenges with clarity and care.

Key Evaluation Criteria:

1. Demonstrates effective leadership, helping the team reach high performance.

2. Shows ability to mentor and develop operators, improving their confidence and skills.

3. Promotes a positive workplace culture and team-building.

4. Resolves conflicts well and makes sound decisions under pressure.

5. Communicates clearly and consistently with their team.
